Great Barrier Reef Snorkel Cruise Tour

Townsville: 7:30 am check-in for 8:00 am departure Magnetic Island: 8:30 am departure, please arrive by 8:15 am Explore the Great Barrier Reef on a full-day snorkelling adventure departing from Townsville, with pickup available from Magnetic Island. After a safety briefing, travel offshore for approximately two to two and a half hours before spending three to four hours exploring multiple reef locations selected by the skipper according to the conditions on the day. Snorkel among colourful coral gardens, coral bommies, reef walls and sandy lagoons while looking out for turtles, rays, tropical fish, seabirds and other marine life. Between snorkelling sessions, relax aboard the vessel, enjoy the open-ocean scenery and have an included lunch and light afternoon tea. Following the final snorkelling session, begin the return journey to Magnetic Island and Townsville. Reef locations, visibility, currents, wildlife activity and sea conditions vary from day to day.

Participants must swim confidently and be able to communicate in English. If a participant is unable to meet these requirements, participation may be refused and no refund will be provided. Tours may be modified, rescheduled or cancelled in extreme weather conditions. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Marine life and wildlife sightings are common but cannot be guaranteed.
